Thank you very much.

This would be a great feature to advertise if you had a setting for this -- "No More Empty Voicemails with Ooma."

1939, done - you may want to change your forum username to something other than your phonenumber

Tom,

I called customer support 1-888-711-OOMA (6662) and they said this could not be done.

But I would like to have:

1) voicemail less than 5 seconds deleted
2) all empty voicemail deleted

Do I understand correctly the "play" button on the newest edition Ooma will not pulsate orange now for these 1 and 2?

Also, if it is possible, I would like to have all saved voicemail messages automatically deleted after 5 days unless I go through and re-save them. Apparently, they stay for 60 days and fill the voicemail box.

Thank you.

This setting is available on MyOoma now under Preferences | Voicemail Preferences | General Settings.

Yes, but it doesn't seem to work. I set it to the max (5 Sec), called and just said one word and hung up and the message was stored and I received notification of a new message. Perhaps the 5 seconds includes the beep? Maybe offer longer delays?

But, did you save and give it time to refresh before your called? I also set it for 5 seconds, saved, synced, and then did a test call saying just one, two-syllable word, and there was no new message notification afterward.
