I just realized both of my grandmothers are paying ~ $45+tax each month for a personal emergency response system that will automatically call 911 for them if they press a button on a wrist strap. The idea is if they're home alone and something happens they can get help without needing to get to a phone. It's a great service, but that's a ridiculously high price IMO and I'd be willing to bet that Ooma could develop and implement a similar product.
