sms ability on ooma line? free / low cost sms compatible ?

tried to sign up for twitter acct, gave ooma number to 'call to verify' said ooma number couldnt be called to verify....why is ooma number not compatible with twitter call verification? is it possible to get ooma number that is? if so, free? if not, cost?

Some of these "verification services" won't call VoIP lines. Others use some sort of database to connect the number to your name (I am not sure where they get this info) and won't call if it doesn't match. But no, Ooma does not support SMS. It has been requested.

You might try Google Voice for a free number and see if that works.
