Reword VM email subject line
Currently, emails containing voice mails have a subject of the form:
New VM from <town, state> [<caller-number>] (<duration>)
The duration is a key indicator to me of spam. If the duration is less than 5 seconds, I delete the email without opening it. Problem is, the duration is at the very end of the subject, and is usually truncated in the mailbox list view. So I have to open the email to see that it's spam. This would not happen if the duration was presented earlier in the subject line. The "new" term is completely useless; all messages are "new" when delivered, and not new later on.
Simple request: please reorganize the subject to eliminate fluff and present dense information earlier:
<duration> VM from <town, state> [<caller-number>]
You could probably drop "VM from" as well, since the sender and subject pattern are instantly recognizable.
More complex request: enable users to set their own patterns, or at least control terseness.
By the way, VM-to-email is a very handy service. Thank you!
Thanks,
