Call not available on HD3 handset

When the phone rings the HD3 handsets no longer are available to pick up the call. The DP1 works ok, and the legacy wired handset show the caller id and allows me to pick up .. but the HD3 handsets do not register the call .. however the calls can show up on the call log for the HD3 handsets.
Any idea how to correct this? Do I have to reboot the base unit?
