When using 'Send To Voicemail' in the Call Blocking settings, the voicemail picks up immediately. The caller doesn't even hear a ringing sound on their end.
Although I can't guarantee this is correct, but if a scammer hears voicemail, they know it's a live valid phone number and will continue to call back.
Typically when a scammer calls and gets through to make my phone ring, they hang up after 4 rings. At least that's what I have noticed in my experience.
I'd like to see the VM (in the Call Blocking section) pick-up on the 5th ring or somehow make it user adjustable. That way, maybe....just maybe, they will disregard the number. If not, at least we can waste some of their time.
