Custom greetings for specific callers (a la YouMail)

YouMail -- a visual voicemail service for mobile phones -- allows you to define customized voicemail greetings for every caller. You can record your own message to use with a specific caller, upload a music file, or choose a free greeting from a large online library (check it out).

I think this would be a compelling feature for Ooma premiere. Ideally, you would be able to:

- pick a default voicemail greeting
- pick a default voicemail greeting for all blocked callers
- pick a default voicemail greeting to each group in contacts, ex: separate greetings for "family" and "co-workers"

- pick a specific voicemail greeting for a specific blocked caller
- pick a specific voicemail greeting for a specific caller on contact list

Google voice will allow you to set up custom voice mail greetings based on the phone number calling. Hopefully, this will be one of the features that Ooma will integrate into their systems.

The set of phones that I have allow for custom ringtones for individual numbers.

I very much agree! Pay attention OOMA this is an easy win for you. Your system will support it, and it is a feature some of the competition offers. The quality of OOMA is the best, now show us customer requests response is above the reset as well!
