solar powered ooma telo ...anyone doing that yet ??
Hi
just wondering if any one has a solar powered telo system up and running yet ?
i dont think it would take much to do it solar power as i read a topic on here that the telo was only about 10 or 15 watts or so ( can't remember now ) and what ever watts a modem was ..
i have not checked yet but it seems that the adapter puts out DC ?
thanks

What happens when the sun's not shining?
The Telo uses about 5-6 watts.
My cable modem draws 7 watts.

I think here in the Northwest I would have to have batteries to last about 320 days. When people talk about "putting it where the sun don't shine" I always think they're talking about Shelton (that's our nearest town).xboxman wrote:well we would need some batts to store the power and count in about how many cloudy days one may haveWhat happens when the sun's not shining?

Friends don't remember what Landline Integration was or why we did it.
