Hi
just wondering if any one has a solar powered telo system up and running yet ?

i dont think it would take much to do it solar power as i read a topic on here that the telo was only about 10 or 15 watts or so ( can't remember now ) and what ever watts a modem was ..
i have not checked yet but it seems that the adapter puts out DC ?
thanks

What happens when the sun's not shining?

The Telo uses about 5-6 watts.

My cable modem draws 7 watts.

Probably wouldn't hurt to have up to 10w additional capacity though... in case a cloud wafts over :-)

I think here in the Northwest I would have to have batteries to last about 320 days. When people talk about "putting it where the sun don't shine" I always think they're talking about Shelton (that's our nearest town). :P
