Calls from AT&T support go directly to VM and don't ring

Post by Bill D » Sat May 15, 2010 2:03 pm

Today. several different AT&T support personnel in California called my Ooma number located in Florida and all of their calls went directly to my Ooma VM and did not ring on my phone - as if they were blacklisted to go straight to VM - but they were not.

The AT&T tech said the unique way the AT&T support calls are originated may cause Ooma to direct them differently than regular calls. This seemed strange to me but worthy of mention to the experts around here that may understand why.

BTW, I'm a very happy 3-hub owner. My dealings with AT&T support were unrelated to Ooma.
