You are right.
This being played in a continuous loop would be more soothing yet uniquely Ooma!

Glad to see Ooma's finally considering my idea.
Regarding the beeping, the chirp guy's idea works. My last machine (not a tape machine, ha ha) made a slightly lower frequency beep about once per 10 seconds I'd guess. Frequency was a little lower than the chirp.mpg which might be better for those a little older or hard of hearing since higher frequency hearing is the 1st to go. chirp.mpg works for me, though.
I've enjoyed reading the humorous commentary - even those that disagreed with me, since w/o their comments, maybe no one else would have jumped on the bandwagon. Still hard to believe that some thought beeping was too much to ask, even as an option - you guys think too small or just don't understand that the technology is already there. Ha ha.

Not as big as my idea. Can you imagine having this puppy drive up to deliver the news that you have a new message!

Still thinking too small. How about this incoming message - and don't forget the chirping birds notification

I'm pretty sure this guy would hate ooma if my plan was in place. He would have to wade to my door to tell me to look at my blinking light!
