Enable / disable voice mail

Post by Pandora » Sat Mar 07, 2009 8:26 pm

Ooma voice mail is great. So is my own voice mail. I'd like Ooma to allow me to disable its own voice mail (unless the internet connection is down) if possible.

Thanks

Just an idea but,
Can you set ooma voicemail to answer at maximum setting and let your voicemail answer in, say 4 rings?

That's what I'm doing now. It seems to work well enough.

The only time I'd want Ooma to take voice mail would be if my connection was down, and there was no number to forward to when the connection was out.

Thanks for the suggestion.

That would work unless you are away and want to pick up your voicemails by email.
