Account Upgrade

I neglected to sign up for the "Premier" version of Ooma at the same time of establishing my Ooma account (within the 30 day time frame). As such, I a am being billed monthly USD 9.99 + tax. To correct this and establish an ANNUAL US 119.99 Premier Account - the very polite lady in Customer Service first had to downgrade my account back to BASIC and only on September 23 (13 days from now) will I be able to sign up for an annual Premier Account. Needless to say, I am incredulous at the length of time this procedure takes and would appreciate a logical explanation for this delay.

Hello Chris,

Unfortunately, it's a bug in our system where we have to wait till your account hits the date on your bill cycle.
Afterwards, basic service would then kick in.
