New Ooma Voicemail Upgrade Ready
Ok, I will bite.
What does the new system look like as apposed to the old? I am too new with Ooma to know the difference.

Re: New Ooma Voicemail Upgrade Ready
I suspect "the complete FAQ" at the bottom of the message will explain..........if you can get the "Support Password". I'm still hunting for it. If you find it, let me know.joe123 wrote:What does the new system look like as apposed to the old?

Re: New Ooma Voicemail Upgrade Ready
When you log into your Ooma account - you get the big "Voicemail Upgrade" message on your screen - at the bottom, there is a link to "the complete FAQ" - When you click on that link, you are asked for the "Support Password".joe123 wrote:Lost you there pal.
Re: New Ooma Voicemail Upgrade Ready
Ok thanks. I do not see neither of those, so I guess I am in the new voicemail system.
Would be nice if someone can post a picture of what the new system looks like just to make sure.

Re: New Ooma Voicemail Upgrade Ready
I suspect you are still on the old VM system and haven't been offered the Upgrade yet. Try logging out of My Ooma and logging back in. The Upgrade Message you'll see was copied into the first message of this thread (by Ibmofo).
Re: New Ooma Voicemail Upgrade Ready
I think it looks the same. On the upper right, there is a link of either "View Archived Messages" or "View Active Messages" so you can switch between old and new to manage messages. The question mark next to the above links point to the same FAQ that is password protected (I think "protected" maybe an oversight).joe123 wrote:What does the new system look like as apposed to the old?

The support article should be accessible without a password now:

Re: New Ooma Voicemail Upgrade Ready
I can already tell you that the above is false. I lost my name and personal greeting when "upgrading" and had to re-record them.lbmofo wrote:Any names or personal greetings you have recorded will automatically be transferred to the new voicemail system.
Personally other than losing all my saved messages, names and personal greeting I see absolutely no difference after upgrading. Fortunately voicemail still appears to work as do email notifications from the brief test I did.
Re: New Ooma Voicemail Upgrade Ready
I just made the upgrade but lost all the Voicemail I had.
I also losted a folder I had made that had Voicemail in it.
