HOW DO I BLOCK PARTIAL CALLER ID? I keep getting calls with

If they are able to display 000-000-0000 they can display the number they want to have you call back on. It might be the number for their appointment desk or another number that would go through their IVR. There is really no reason for a legitamate company to display a bogus CID of 000-000-0000.

That is true. I can set the company phone system (where I work) to show any CID for all phones at work and even for each phone individually - or ranges of extensions for that matter. (Of course the name people see is taken from the carrier database.)

So I guess what I am wondering - is 000-000-0000 intentional or is it possibly a default in there system or in the carrier that might do that? It seeams odd a medical facility would do that ...was just musing.

We don't support wildcards. But you can blacklist numbers shorter than 10 digits now. So you can add "775" to your blacklist.

But I'm assuming that won't block 775-555-2325, right?

Is wildcard support a possible future enhancement?

In Unix speak is this the same as 775* or 775???????, or is it *775*? Maybe more easily to understand, when you enter less than 10 digits, do the digits start with the area code, or is it a "contains" equation?
