Is there a way to clear the call logs of entries?

No. If you could clear it then it wouldn't be a call log.
Entries roll off the back end after 60 days.

I concur. However, this question seems to come up quite often. Perhaps a second level of security (e.g. special password) to access call logs might alleviate many of the existing concerns.

I've learned a lot here... two months ago I didn't even know how to spell VOIP and now I are one.

For me this is not about the semantics of a call log but giving the user control over what they
want stored. Even Google allows the call log to be edited.

I would like to either disable the call log entirely for privacy reasons or be able to edit it
like I can with Google.

You can delete call history entries but you can't delete logs of calls that dipped into your prepaid $.
IMO, the norm of call logs is un-editable. Cell phone usage online, Vonage usage online etc.
IMO, people who shouldn't see your call log shouldn't have access to your my.ooma.com

I see no harm in having the choice.

I agree that it should be the customer's choice. That we don't have that option seems to be yet another indication that ooma thinks it's customers are idiots and must, therefore, limit our options.

So you would rate using your actual phone number as your username on a public forum read by many bots and spammers as putting you in line for membership in the Mensa program? :P

And to be proper, two rules:
Rule 1: When you mean it is or it has, use an apostrophe.
Rule 2: When you are using its as a possessive, don't use the apostrophe.
