My Out Calling caller id is ok
Could I get a supervisor, in the Board please.
My Out Calling caller id is ok.
The problem is with some of the in coming calls that I get.
Below is a few that I have gotten recently, all missing the first name.
Not all names I get are missing the first names.
It looks like the names from AT&T
Now I know AT&T did not stop sending the first names.
I know the people I have listed, and I know they didn't have there name change on caller id.
Could it a missing ' in the mix to change it blank at the end?
This is the caller name from my call logs.

Re: My Out Calling caller id is ok
Logs show that's how we receive the name from the upstream carrier: SCHUH and MILLER.
Re: My Out Calling caller id is ok
Hello Tom B,
Do you understand the problem.
AT&T told me that they use a COMMA in their caller ID, nothing has changed with AT&T.
AT&T is not blocking anything.
Something tells me ooma doesn't want to fix the problem.
It seems like the problem is caused by the COMMA.
I think the COMMA is blocking out the rest of the caller id.
Please work with me to figure this out.
I think the COMMA is messing it up.
Can ooma allow COMMA to show so things don't get mixed up.

Re: My Out Calling caller id is ok
The callerid received from the carrier has no comma. Ooma is passing the callerid on exactly as received, which is "MILLER ". So on our side no confusion over comma going on.
I added a second number to your account. Log into MyOoma to see what it is. Next check if the callerid received on this number is the same or not.

Re: My Out Calling caller id is ok
Tom B.
No deference with 313 number.
I wish you would get some other help with this.
I know ooma knows how to fix this.
Wasting my time is useless.
Pleas ask for help.

Re: My Out Calling caller id is ok
We can't fix something we have no control over, but you can ask support to escalate the issue up to the carrier to see what they can do. I see no calls to the 2nd inbound number.
Re: My Out Calling caller id is ok
watchdog, the 313 number you mentioned doesn't seem to have callerid entry.

Do you have some of these numbers in your Ooma contacts? If so, then the contact entry will be reflected when receiving calls.

Re: My Out Calling caller id is ok
I cant call out to make call to the 313 number.
That is a long distance call and I don't have LD on that line.
Do that (but you can ask support to escalate the issue up to the carrier to see what they can do.)
How can I make a call with number.
R u telling me I will never see hour is tring to call me on this line.
Here the dell ooma
Someone at ooma said AT&T told me that they use a COMMA in their caller ID, nothing has changed with AT&T.
COMMA will not help it, ooma doesn't want to use a COMMA in its language.

Re: My Out Calling caller id is ok
According to the link, that 313 number doesn't have a callerid name
Re: My Out Calling caller id is ok
Removed the 313 number from your account because as you say you have no way of making a test call to an LD number, so added another 618 number instead. Try calling from your 3800 number to that second 618 number instead and see if the full callerid shows up (both first and last name).
