I replaced 2 land lines, one was my home phone the other a home office phone. The two buildings (home and office) are physically some distance apart so often my wife calls the office with some question or emergency ( you know, a gecko that needs flushing or some such). With ooma telo and Linx, I still have two lines but they can't ring each other. Surely this is a "trivial" bit of software that would make a lot of home office workers happier. Other than that I love the system and will recommend it with enthusiasm.

You can ring your other phones--you just need to use the intercom codes:

*00 to dial phone attached to telo phone port
*01 to dial DECT device at DECT slot 1
*02 to dial DECT device at DECT slot 2
*03 to dial DECT device at DECT slot 3
*04 to dial DECT device at DECT slot 4
