What to do if legitimate number in community blacklist?

Will contact list take precedent over the community blacklist?

I'm asking because I have the community blacklist enabled, but it appears that the community has incorrectly flagged a legitimate E-trade number (678-710-2410) as blacklisted. I'd like to be able to have the community blacklist enabled but yet still receive calls from that number. So by adding that number to my Contacts list will it allow the call to go through as legitimate? If not, how should one deal with this?

I've removed the number.

Thanks!

I'm still curious whether my idea of adding the number to Contacts would have allowed the number to go through for me... do you know?

It would not. That would be white listing. It has been requested for years but so far it has not happened.

White listed was just added for Premiere users. Numbers in the contact list are now white listed.

Two years ago, after problems of not receiving calls, I found the VA's number was blocked. So this is a HUGE improvement and important for safety.

Now, if it was just easier to add a number. How about using or syncing Google Contacts for Ooma, please. Having phone numbers in multiple databases is awfully inconvenient and makes mistakes and omissions too easy.
