How to erase all messages at once.

My phone was down for awhile but the messages kept piling up. I want to erase all of them but don't want to have to go through the whole pile. Is there a way to erase all messages at once?

Just check the box (far left) in the header column to select all VMs & select 'Delete' in 'More Actions'.
