Issue with call block using Lounge with Firefox

Post by EDS » Wed Dec 17, 2008 3:59 pm

I was testing the new call block feature by signing into the lounge using Firefox 3, adding a number, calling the phone and seeing if the number would be blocked. The block feature worked. When I went to delete the number, no such luck. I was going to write this in the beta section as a bug, when I thought "maybe I should try signing in using IE" and sure enough it worked.

So all along it was a browser issue. Go figure. Anyone know if this is an isolated issue?

I was just about to post something and ask - what does the incoming caller hear when you put their number on 'block' instead of 'voicemail'?

Here are the messages heard when the action is set to "blocked" for ACB and

ACB:
"The person you are calling does not accept calls from private numbers, to unblock your caller-ID, hang up and dial *82 followed by the number."

Blacklist:
""The person you are calling has blocked your phone number. Goodbye!"
