It was $199 with the same $40 gift card 2 days ago, then they ran out of stock and when it came back in stock, they raised the price to $227.
I purchased my telo January 5th, from amazon.com for $226.98

Told them that I would like the offer applied or I would just return the unit and purchase another to get the promotion. Two minutes on hold and I now have $40.00 off my next amazon.com order....

As pointed out earlier the $400-$500 pricing included lifetime premiere, which became a $350 option when the price dropped to $249 and now isn't even offered. So IMO the prices didn't necessarily go down that much for the same feature set, but rather they changed up the mix so they could get people into Ooma at a lower entry price point with a more basic feature set, and shifted the rest into a subscription instead of prepay model.

Indeed, and that included me. When I first learned of Ooma, the $400+ pricetag turned me offf, quickly. But I jumped in at $214 (core) without any reservations.

Could not be happier. Phone number port when without a hitch last week (21st). Happened to be the day of the server upgrade gone bad, but we did not notice since we were prepared for a downtime during the day.
