Hi all
New user with a few questions on this app.
I have hub & scout. Signed up for Premiere Service with my number port.
At set-up, I choose NOT to use existing landline.
Downloaded the app for ipod touch 4g and working fine.

1. When my port completes what will happen with my userid & password on the ipod?
2. With my hub purchase I recieved a $20.00 credit(international calls).
After using the app on my ipod for 1 day, my account balance is $19.98.
When I signed up for ooma mobile, it didn't ask for credit card, so I'm
assuming it's subtracting from this credit. As a Premiere Member, don't I
get 250 minutes per month free? When I launch the app on the ipod, it says
I have 1867 minutes remaining?
3. Can I install this app on more than one ipod touch?

Thanx in advance for your help

After your port completes, you can login to my.ooma.com using your ported number (password is same as what you use now) and then re-generate your Ooma Mobile password (sign in to app using your ported number and the newly regenerated password).

Yes, Ooma app charges will come out of prepaid account. Domestic calling is about 2 cents a minute except Premier members get 250 min a month free. Calls to Ooma numbers are always free. International charges work as if you are calling from your Ooma home number. Ooma Mobile FAQ: https://www.ooma.com/support/knowledgeb ... mobile-faq

Using same itunes account, you can download what you purchased to up to 5 devices I believe.

Thanx ibmofo
I'm still a little confused on point 2. I am a Premiere Member,
so should there be NO charge until AFTER I exceed 250 minutes?

If you got charged for US calling, you should call customer service to find out why and have them fix.

Here's the reply from CS:

"I apologize for the confusion and inconvenience this Iapps free 250 minutes promotion may have caused you.
Please allow me to explain this matter to you.
I have checked your outgoing mobile app calls.
I agree that there had been only one call that has mistakenly charge your prepaid credits.
Please be assured that I have already refunded the $x.xx charge for that specific call.
You may check your Prepaid balance from your Myooma account."

I'm hoping the word PROMOTION isn't a portent of things to come.

I am not 100% certain but it seems the "limited time promotion" is about using the 250 free minutes on international calls if you subscribe to an international plan as a Premier subscriber.

This is related to the 500 minute international plan:
"As a limited time promotion, you can use the 250 minutes of free domestic calling that you get with Ooma Premier and use them to call those same 70 countries. So you get 750 total minutes every month to call overseas or call domestically using Ooma Mobile - split your usage however you want."
