This is obviously a Telo software related issue that mistakes "End call" signal for "Flash". I haven't had any issues prior to switching to OOMA. Customer service has been unhelpful in resolution of this issue mostly blaming it on my phone. But again, we had exactly same phones with other provider and never had issues with callbacks.

We've been living with this issue over a year now and I am glad to see that others are speaking up. Maybe this will make them do something about this problem.

deeonline, is your house wiring physically disconnected from the phone company?

I'm not getting the call back... what happens here is you make a call that doesn't connect so you hang up and then pick the line up again and you get the "The instant second line is only available for Premier". You can hangup and wait 5-10 seconds and try again and you get the message.... seems to take quite a while to clear/fix the problem.

My wife wants me to throw the Ooma out because she is tired of all the quirks and issues. I'm with her, I don;t need the grief.

I also think it is software related too.... the Instant second line should not even be attempted if you don't have premier.

Back to Vonage or Primus... Ooma may be cheaper but the issues are piling up... see my other posts.

In the "delay" thread, you mentioned that you don't have delay if a wired phone is connected directly to the Telo....this tells me you have issues with all the cordless you have. I think it is more cost effective to get a new DECT 6 system from Costco. Get a multi handset system and continue to save with Ooma vs going over to Vonage or some other alternative. With those guys, it would be like buying a new DECT phone system every 2 to 3 months.

I'd get an AT&T DECT 6 system (Panasonic is too expensive and other brands I trust less).

With new phone system you can possibly avoid your "beep" problem too.

With this particular issue with call back, you just need to hang up the phone properly.

Don't let the other guys win you over so you can pay them arm/leg every month.
