Because of my experience in ordering directly with Ooma recently, you will receive the new 2014 model of Ooma Telo in a blue and white box. You will have to pay $149 but if you live in California, you will be charged $163 because of CA state taxes. Also, your credit or debit card will be charged $3 but will be refunded back. That is to ensure that the card is legit.
After activation, you will need to enter credit card information and your $50 rebate will be credited to your account in a few days or weeks. Again you will be charged $3 after submitting card information but will be refunded back.
After everything is set up, you will have a free 2 month trial of Ooma Premier. Remember, the day that you activated your Ooma, after one month, you will have to pay the specific amount of tax depending on your area.
