Thanks.

Unfortunately, I bought the App just as I upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.

Hopefully Ooma will get on it.

Ooma put out a temp fix to the app (disabled HD for iOS 5 compatibility issues); check it out.

Thanks for the alert - I just loaded the new (3.0.4) App and made one test call. It worked perfectly.

The timing of this fix sucks because I really needed it on our recent vacation. However, not having it forced me to pay phone charges which contributed to help solve the European financial crisis. :D

The app on iPhone 4S is broke.

Whether wifi or 3G, I can call Ooma numbers but calling external numbers doesn't work. The app gets stuck at "Connecting" mode. The other end rings but when answering, no sound.

Uninstalled the app, re-installed but no help.

I used it on my iPhone 4 with iOS 5 this evening calling several AT&T cell phones and it worked as expected with no problems. Also called my home Ooma line with it and it worked as expected.

The problems you are having sound similar to the problems I had before.

I reverted back to previous version for my iPhone 4S.

I confirmed that the newer version works good with iPhone 4 as well as iPhone 3GS.

Definitely does not work on iPhone 4S. Freezes the phone for a while, then crashes.

I downloaded the update through the phone so just deleted the app from phone, sync'ed with itunes, checked the app (prvious version) to sync and reverted back to the older version.

Couldn't agree more. I'm in the same boat as most of you with the mobile app. Please read a related string at http://www.ooma.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13101
