You misunderstand. I love Ooma...I was a white rabbit, and it has saved me lots of money since the beta days. I was just commenting since the poster before me ordered a day after me and has already gotten the handsets while I am still waiting for shipping info.

I received my handset yesterday. Easy to set up and feels good in the hand. Much better than the first generation handset. I just ordered another one. :D

I placed my order at 5:30 AM on 10/17. My card was charged at the time the order was placed. I have nothing other then my account showing the payment to indicate that OOMA has done anything other then take my money. Others have gotten their HD2 orders, while mine has not even been shipped. I'm one of the first to place an order, yet I am being ignored. This type of service is not right. I am on the east coast, how many other orders could there have been in front of me? I can understand a delay in shipping, but in all fairness, orders should be proccessed FIFO. I guess the early bird gets ignored by OOMA. An apology to those who ordered and were skipped over would not even begin to cut it with me. I waited the better part of a year for an accessory that would allow me the use of a feature I had paid for for that time, and it was then made obvious that OOMA gave preferential treatment to those paying by cash vs. a credit card because of a higher profit on the cash order. How petty.

I believe Ooma’s warehouse is located in or near Vacaville, California. When I’ve had Ooma products shipped to me, it has always taken more then a week for the products to reach me.

Been reading this thread and biting my tongue... I'm usually a pretty patient guy. I get the whole thing about OOMA being a smaller company and maybe fulfillment is NOT their forte, got it. Everyone deserves a little benefit of the doubt once in a while.

I was charged sales tax, BTW. I did use a credit card as well. (Gotta earn those airmiles :) ) Jerald, your input is valued and appreciated, but telling someone to "get over it"... really? :!:

I would be happy as a clam if I even got so much as a CONFIRMATION email from OOMA. I had to call, only to be told, uhm, it may ship in a few days. Hopefully, OOMA continues to keep doing what they do well. But we can all agree a little improvement in fulfillment would make customers happier.

Okaaay...this thread has gone to the...

Yes, a confirmation email would have been a very nice thing to have. Can only hope that I get a shipping email soon. And, yes, I used a credit card which was immediately charged AND cleared so, no reason for anyone to get skipped ahead of me. Just saying.

I am happy to hear early reports that the handsets are much better than the 1st gen ones because I had no love from those. I will now unsubscribe from this thread. May check in again from time to time but, please tone down the rhetoric and insults (you know who you are).

I really should just digress, but hate when people don't believe what they are told...

I live in WA. I ordered on line with a credit card. I WAS charged sales tax. Interesting. Maybe I'll get a refund?

Oh, this explains it: * Taxes may apply for purchases made in the states of WA, CA and certain other locations.
