Number Porting

Post by kdmc69 » Tue Oct 07, 2008 12:24 pm

Callers this afternoon to the number I am in the process of having ported over have been getting a "this line has been disconnected" message. I tested and verified it. The Ooma number is working fine and I can make calls out and receive calls on it. Is this an indication that my number is in the final stage of being ported over? I sure hope so since it has been a month since the request was submitted. Or does it mean I've lost my number which I have had for 27 years?

My concern has been addressed! The number port WAS in it's final stage. I just got the message indicating that the port was complete. So, I did not lose my number and my phone is now working with the ported number.
I'm a happy camper!
