You can add a bluetooth kernel driver and a dongle and that will open up some interesting possibilities for a BT headset and voice dialing.

My guess is that that its there right now for a possible recovery from a bad firmware update with plans to add features in the future.
I'd like it to connect to my espresso machine so it could make me lattes in the morning just before I wake up. Our present coffee maker does a great job but oh how I long for a tall skinny mocha no whip when I have my feet hit the floor. Maybe it will be a future upgrade or maybe someone can take the ooma developer sdk and make it happen. Ummmmma coffee. Kinda sounds like ooma, right? :)

It's automatic. The latest firmware is 24912 which you can see on the Device Status page.

That's true but it still doesn't support AMoIP (Automatic Mocha over IP - see two posts above), BoIP (Brownies over IP - ask WayneDSR about that one), or ICoIP (Ice Cream over IP).

I guess I'll just have to be happy with great phone service!

I suppose Jack-in-the-Box could make a USB Jack that would plug into it kinda like the window Jack they brought out to thwart the evil intentions of those who would kidnap an antenna Jack.

i hope i can charge my ipod/iphone over ooma's usb.

ooma's ac adapter is kinda big that it blocks my other power outlets that used to be my ipod charger's outlet.
anyway i think something like video chat will be cool.

I put my magicjack in it and now I can make free calls anywhere in the USA!
Ooma Telo, Hub.
1958 was a very good year!
No cell phone , no land line- just Ooma
all my eggs in one Ooma basket
I lied- my wife has a cell, but not me!! I like my privacy and not being attached to a phone.
