2) Service level is associated with the account. A discontinued service level, such as core or "lifetime" premier, can be maintained as long as the device in the account is operational. The lifetime of that device can only be extended via an RMA, not the purchase of another device. RMAs are only issued for devices that are within warranty (with the exception of e.g. upgrade offers).
Thanks. With respect to the definition of "Lifetime", is the current version (as of April 26, 2016) the same as was found in the Terms & Conditions back in 2009?

ccdugga, support missed an item in your initial order on 10/27, it was updated on 11/8.
mhowie, your forum email address doesn't match the one on your Ooma account so I can't look it up.
It's now been a month since ordering. No delivery, no tracking info. Credit card was charged the day after ordering. Please expedite.

New customers can get a Telo for $68 right now - so much for the 'offer' given to loyal customers.. I know we're really buying a effective extension of our free 'lifetime' plans by being 'encouraged' to buy new hardware but think this illustrates the perspective that Ooma is trying to monetize our low (no) margin accounts. In any case I'm glad I have my Telo on the shelf in case the Hub fails

From my understanding, it was a special offer only available through Ooma.

No. Ooma won't make as much money that way.

if you really want to save money: get an Obi 202 from Newegg on sale for $55.99 tomorrow 11/30/16.
Combined with GV it has the same and more features than this; which you pay for in the form of "extras"... and no gimmicks, no taxes and at no cost.

Mostly, just keep in mind no 911 unless you pay for an extra service and configure it.
