This is very frustrating! The current status for me, is that I can receive an incoming call on my iPhone iOS10.3.2, and it transfers just fine to my handsets. However, I cannot make an outgoing call from my iPhone and use the speaker on my iPhone (after choosing 'speaker', or 'phone') as it only works for a couple of seconds and is then silenced. I reported this several weeks ago. I received a couple of messages that they are still working on a solution, and that I should hear from them again in a couple of days. Surely wish something could be done!

Fine as in the phones attached to your Ooma ring? But when you answer on one of these phones the call drops (telo1) or there's no way audio (telo2). That's the only symptom we know of with iOS 10+ and working to resolve.

Its now 8 months. Still no fix. Ooma is the only BT device not working. Why is there no fix?

9 months and not even an answer in why not fixed. Why does every other BT device work and Ooma can't ( won't ) fix this?

We're currently testing a fix. It has to do with iOS 10 adding support for inband ringing.

I was just about to pull the trigger on a Bluetooth adapter for my new Ooma Telo w/ HD2, but both my wife and I have iPhone 7 with most recent iOS. Bluetooth pairing with our iPhones is something that my wife requested since we had it enabled on our old non-Ooma handset...and I sold her on Ooma as being exactly the same as our old phone and service but with lower pricing. Good thing I saw this before I started down the pairing route.

How is the testing going that Tom referred to in his last post?

I'm hoping to hear that we're getting close to a release containing this fix...or I'm going to have a fight on my hands to keep from reverting back to all the old equipment/service/etc.

One further question...are the Ooma devs also currently testing the aforementioned solution with the iOS 11 beta release? Seems like it would be a sad state to get it working in iOS 10 just to lose ground again in a few short weeks when iOS 11 is released.

I am preparing to upgrade to a new iOS device running iOS 11. It will be the new iPhone X. Does Bluetooth work yet? It has been a half a decade since you've had this problem on various iOS devices. I would think a half a decade is more than enough to fix this problem.
