This issue with software update time has not been fixed. I have been waiting several hours and it’s still not done. Three phones unstable till it’s done. Not a good start.
I just received one HD 3 handset and it is doing the same thing. Erasing, then updating, please wait, then starts over again. I let it continue for over 30 minutes. After reading some of the comments, I took the batteries out and reinstalled. Handset continued where it left off repeating the erasing, updating cycle.
My first Ooma was amazing and was extremely easy to set up. This new Tele 2 and handset has, so far, been a 2 day process! Finally got the base set up, now the handset is being difficult. Any suggestions?? SOS!
