Receiving calls from people who claim my number just called?

I have received phone calls from 2 people who call my number just showed up as calling them when I know for a fact my phone was not used. Why would this happen?

Most likely a spammer has selected your number to use for its caller ID. People are more likely to answer a call that appears to come from their area.

You could try blacklisting your own number, although if you use the app to call home that might be a problem.
