Ooma in China (aka running Ooma through another VPN)
I am currently living in China which aggressively targets VPNs. It is a fairly constant cat and mouse game between the VPN companies and the great firewall of China. About 6 months ago, they blocked something Ooma was using for it's VPN connection. I ended up moving my Ooma box behind my VPN router (ExpressVPN).
When I was trying to figure out how to fix my issue, I saw all over the forums how you couldn't (shouldn't) use Ooma behind a VPN. Well it's been working fine running through my VPN for these last several months so I figured I'd create a post here to possibly help out other people.

Re: Ooma in China (aka running Ooma through another VPN)
Thought I'd update and note that the router-based ExpressVPN in China has been pretty effectively killed. I switched to a different router-based VPN and Ooma is working fine again.

Can you confirm that Ooma can still be used by connecting directly to router in China?
