Telo blinking blue and red

I am seeing my Telo blinking blue and then red. It has done it several times and lasts for some times a few minutes to a few hours. Right now it has been doing it for over an hour. I still have a dial tone and phone service. I am wondering if this is what happens with an update as that is not what the Ooma guide says it should do. The guide says it should blink purple but this is definitely blinking blue and then red.
