Does it still take a month to port in?

It did 10 years ago when I ported to ooma. Currently porting my mother to Ooma. Curious if it still takes that long.

I requested the port January 23, 2020 and I received an email that the port is schedule for completion by EOB Jan 27, 2020.
This was ported from Comcast.

I ported from AT&T. It took three business days, and I received an email and voice mail regarding the status of the change. Very smooth transition. That was about six years ago.

Well, I initiated the port on Jan 23rd. It was completed today (from Straight Talk Home Phone). Not nearly as bad as it was years ago. :D
