Telo apparently dead?

Post by aznetcowboy » Mon Jan 25, 2021 12:13 pm

My Telo unit is not displaying any lights at all. I have relocated the power cord to different outlets and different UPS unit that I use in my computer room. Am I to assume to unit is dead, D E A D?

It's more likely that the power supply has died.
It's 5 volts at 2 amps with the center terminal of the plug that connects to the Telo +.

In my case, the power supply had died. I cut off the Ooma plug and spliced it onto another 5V/2A supply (from an old DLink router), and it worked fine. If you do that, make sure to observe the correct polarity (center positive) and don't do it if you're not comfortable with electronics.
