Faxing with Oooma Premier Residential and HD3 handsets

I have a printer with a fax machine I want to connect.
Ideally I would use the second phone number I got from Ooma (it's the one I chose and still shows in my account after porting my landline number in.)
Do I need a Linx to connect the printer and have the fax machine ring the second number?
