home phone rings rapidly for 30 seconds(about 10 times)
Greetings,
In the last 10 days I have had my home phone ring rapidly, about 10 to 11 times, in 30 seconds. Has happened 4 times. I checked my online account call log and it show up as separate calls. Some times it's caller ID is just numbers, sometimes a name.
I have nomorobo enabled, along with block no caller id and known spammers.
I read some of the posts about the new FCC stir/shaken rule to identify callers, but really have no idea if it could cause this problem .
All other calls come through just fine.
So I'm just curious if anyone else has had this happen.
Thanks for any info on this
Norm

Re: home phone rings rapidly for 30 seconds(about 10 times)
Does that mean that 10 different parties tried to call within a 30 second time span? Maybe that's a glitch with some spammers auto-dialing software. I had one party leave a voicemail while another party was calling, maybe once or twice, (which was confusing enough), but that's about it.
Whatever the issue is, it probably has nothing to do with STIR/SHAKEN.
