Price increases
Thoroughly happy with Ooma performance for the last 15 years. Only last year had to buy new unit. Grateful that Ooma was there to halt the $45/mo. telephone charges so many years ago.
My ooma bill was $2.xx when started and now its $6.15 and rising the last two consecutive months. I have FIOS through Frontier in California and they offer free home phone with 2 gb or $10/mo.
Ooma pricing keeps going up and Frontier keeps coming down, sorry to say pretty soon it may not be viable to keep Ooma.

Re: Price increases
Ooma's basic service is still free, (aside from taxes and fees, which all carriers have to pay). Frontier may advertise "free home phone with 2 gb or $10/mo", but does that quote include the required taxes and fees, or will Frontier discreetly roll those additional costs into separate line items on their monthly bill?
