Contact Not Displaying in Handset

Post by tugadaq » Tue Mar 14, 2023 11:43 am

When importing contacts into Ooma, the 'display as' ignores the 'display as' in the input source and automatically creates it as first name last name despite the source having a 'display as' set to last name, first name. Normally, that would not be a problem because the handset will usually include contacts that match the handset letter pressed with both last and first names (i.e., Jim Smith will show up by pressing either JKL or PQRS). But this fails if the contact has two or more phone numbers: it will only show up by pressing JKL unless the display setting is last name, first name.
