I'm not sure how often it happens but my Ooma has been losing its connection to the router occasionally. It happened twice this morning but I only notice it if I'm sitting at the computer and I can see the HD3 handset and the Ooma light. I'm 99% sure it's not a router problem because I'm not aware of any other devices losing their connection. The Ooma and my PC are the only things wired to the router, everything else (20 or so devices) are wireless.
I've had the Ooma so long, I don't even remember when I got it. I'm sure it's got to be 10 years or more. Could the disconnects be a sign of it starting to fail or just a quirk?
