Yes, I just got a CID from V08290318010000, Phone number 000-000-0000. Do ya thin it wer spoophed wif all dem naughts? ;~) When I went to my lounge to blacklist it, the number was blank, just the 'not connected' sign and the time stamp. When I tried to enter it manually, I got a 'Please enter a valid number' error.
Bobby or Dennis, any help with this one? Is it possible to add that number to the anonymous call block feature so it doesn't bother anyone?
I sure am looking forward to when
...we can build something a bit more sophisticated that will auto-detect caller-ID spoofing and take corrective action.
as Bobby posted in an earlier thread.

Thanks for the links bw1.

Is the internal bug Bobby refered to back in March something we should expect soon, part of the Sept makeover?

I get legitimate calls from 000-000-0000

For me, it is my health care clinic calling when I have an appointment the next day as a reminder service.

Why don't you advise your health care clinic that their caller ID is wrong. They may not be aware of it.

In which case you may either want to not blacklist it, or at least send it to voice mail. If you send to voicemail, you can still listen to it later but telemarketers are less likely to leave a message.
