My caller ID doesn't work, is this because I still have my land line until my number is ported over?

It might help if you mentioned if it was your INCOMING caller ID from others or OUTGOING caller ID which is not functioning. I suspect that there are two different answers.

It is my incoming Caller ID. As far as I know I believe my out going caller ID is working

Hi Dan, if you have incoming calls to your landline, you must have caller-ID service provided by your phone company in order for caller-ID to work. Incoming calls to ooma numbers or selected personal numbers should have caller-ID provided. When the number port is complete, your landline phone number will be transferred to ooma, and you will have caller-ID on that number without charge.
