Can you port from Cablevision to Ooma?

Hi, have a friend that is interested in the service but doesn't want to lose her current phone number she has had for 5 years now. She has Cablevision VoIP now. Area code is 609 and first three digits are 208. Can she port the number to Ooma? If so I'll pick it up for her for xmas.
