Unable to call Costa Rica

I have tried calling family in Costa Rica more than once. Each time I hear a phone ringing and ringing and no one answers. My family tell me that they have an answering machine, yet I never get the answering machine when I call their house.

Plus, each time I call my family there, I am charged for the attempt.

Something must be wrong with the ooma system, that cannot reach my family.

Please help.

Hi vadkins, can you report the number that you're trying to call and the approx. date/time of the attempt to the support team? They can follow-up and investigate these international call attempt failures.

According to my call log, I tried calling this number at these times:
1/22/09 at 6:01 PM
1/21/09 at 7:09 PM
1/21/09 at 7:07 PM
1/21/09 at 7:01 PM

I need to reach my family member at this number ASAP as we have a family crisis going on right now.

How soon will you get back to me on this?

I just tried calling the below number, and was able to get through OK - someone answered "hello" Can you give it a try again?

BTW, I censored the last 4 digits of the phone number for your for privacy.

I asked my family in Costa Rica if they had a phone call yesterday at the time that you say you called their phone number. My family member tells me that they received no phone calls at that time.

So again, the connection to my family's phone in Costa Rica did not work.

What now??
