Is there an annual charge for Core Ooma Service?

I was under the impression that that the Core OOMA service (basic) is free. I am being asked for a ~$12 fee after first year. Is this normal? Well, it is practically free, but just wondering..

If you got the standalone Hub (no Scout in the package), then you have RRF.

$11.75 per year after the 1st year seems to be inline with your case.
