Perhaps it was 2013 ??
I know that kids are back to school and therefor it may seem like it's Fall, but we're still in Summer until September 22. Enjoy the remaining days of Summer :)

Bobby B - I just called one of Ooma sales associates on the 800 number and they said the new handset won't be available until December? Is that true?

Can't believe it is taking this long to get into production. What did they show at CES - an empty shell? Would be nice to give subscribers an approximate date. Or at least let us in on what's happening. Vaporware anybody? If the new phones don't/can't work at least reissue the old ones so we can utilize the full features of the premier package.

There's no change in the release plans - we're still targeting to release the HD2 handset this Fall.

I trust you do not mean the original release date which in the first post stated coming in March 2012

If OOMA knew a date then Why dont we have a date now....... other than Fall

The original handsets are less than stellar and fail I know I invested in 4 of them and bought one used one via Ebay to replace one of the failed units

Rant Over........

Hi, I'm confused with the statement that these new products aren't compatible with the original Telo Handset. What does that mean? Does it mean that I can't use both this new handset and my original telo handset with my Telo system? I was hoping to add the new handset as an added handset, not a replacement.

Thanks!

You can use first generation Ooma Telo handsets with the Omoa Telo, or you can use second generation HD2 handsets with the Ooma Telo, but you can't use both the old and new handsets registered to Ooma Telo, at the same time.
