Maximum number of Ooma handsets support by Ooma Telo

Post by Slantedeye » Thu Dec 27, 2012 2:45 pm

I am currently have Ooma Telo and 4 Ooma handsets (not new HD2 ones). That is the max I can have for one Ooma phone system. I am planning to buy Ooma Link to extend it to another phone on one of the room (too far for the Telo handset to get there, keep dropping connection). Will Ooma Telo allow me do add the Link on top of the 4 Ooma handset I have or the limit is of 4 still there regardless? Meaning I have to drop one of my handset from the Telo system before I can add the Link to the system. Thank in advance.

You will have to drop all of the non HD2 handsets to use a Linx. The Linx uses the same mode as the HD2 handsets.
You can have 4 devices in any combination of HD2 and Linx.
