Goes to Voicemail when internet down (and no Premiere)?

Post by cacophony » Sat Feb 23, 2013 10:17 pm

If my internet is down and somebody calls my Ooma Telo number does it still go to voicemail? Will my Telo indicate that there's a message when the internet comes back up?

I see that the Premier service has a call forwarding option in this case, but I don't plan on subscribing to Premier.

Thanks!

Voicemail is part of basic and resides on the server so Telo will blink with message indicator.

Thanks, good to hear! I just tested as well by unplugging my modem and making a call. After reconnecting my modem, the Telo continued to have the flashing red light for multiple minutes, and only seemed to recover after I manually rebooted it. But after the reboot, I did see the message I left.
